If you've been roaming Talos-II for more than a couple of outings, you've probably had that annoying moment where your run's going great and then—bam—your bag's full. People keep hunting for a hidden upgrade, some research perk, anything that bumps capacity, and it's a dead end. Right now you're basically living with about 35 slots, so if you're trying to keep momentum (or you're even looking at Arknights endfield boosting to get through the grind faster), it helps to accept that the backpack isn't meant to be your long-term storage.

The Bag Isn't the Warehouse
The way it's set up, the backpack is more like a transit bin. You grab what you need, you haul it back, you clear it out. The real "collection" game is the Depot, and that's where progression actually pays off. Once your base is moving and you start investing into logistics upgrades, the Depot starts feeling huge in comparison. It changes your mindset too: you're not just scooping everything off the ground because you can, you're thinking about what feeds your current build queue, what's for crafting, and what's honestly just filler you can skip for now.

Quick Stash Saves Your Sanity
Manual sorting is where a lot of players burn out. Nobody wants to sit there shifting stacks one by one while their friends are already heading out again. That's why Quick Stash matters so much. After you've pushed far enough to interact properly with TP Points and the Depot management menu, you can dump most stackable materials in one go. Hit a TP Point, open Manage Depot, and use Quick Stash to vacuum up the "safe to store" stuff straight out of your pack. It's not glamorous, but it keeps you playing the game instead of playing inventory clerk.

Route Planning Becomes Part of the Loop
That 35-slot cap forces a different style of exploration. Long, messy detours feel great until you realise you're leaving good drops behind because you can't carry them. So you start planning: 1) pick a target resource for the trip, 2) take a route that naturally swings past a TP Point, 3) stash early rather than "one more node." You'll also get quicker at judging value—rare crafting pieces, mission items, and whatever your current construction chain is eating get priority, and the rest can wait for a calmer run.

Keeping the Grind Comfortable
Once you're in the habit, the limit stops feeling like a punishment and starts feeling like a timer that nudges you back to base. Upgrade Depot capacity when you can, use Quick Stash whenever you pass a TP Point, and don't be afraid to leave low-impact loot on the floor if it's slowing you down. If you're trying to smooth out progression without turning every session into a storage chore, it's worth knowing there are options like Arknights endfield boosting for sale in U4gm that some players use alongside better routing and Depot upgrades to keep things moving.
